Technical Information The transponder injector according to Hüther is the professional tool of choice. It is made of anodised cast zinc, fits perfectly into the hand with the grip between the ball of the thumb and the index finger, thus making it easy to operate, even when dealing with fidgety animals. Handling the injector and penetrating the skin is extremely easy, and the transponder is deposited smoothly, easily and with the minimum discomfort. Crucial factors in the development of this tool were achieving the easiest and most natural grip possible, easy operation of the trigger lever and the ability to accommodate a wide range of transponder sizes and cannula lengths. The bevel can be adjusted with a special wheel. As a result, the operator always has the optimum possible view during the injection and is thus ideally placed to ensure that the proceedings remain under the full control of the operator. The transponder injector according to Hüther may be cleaned in an autoclave and highly durable. It is easy and convenient for either women or men, and for left-handed or right-handed operators.
